Psalms 20 — Masoretic Text and the Dead Sea Scrolls

לַמְנַצֵּ֗חַ מִזְמֹ֥ור לְדָוִֽד׃

יַֽעַנְךָ֣ יְ֭הוָה בְּיֹ֣ום צָרָ֑ה יְ֝שַׂגֶּבְךָ֗ שֵׁ֤ם׀ אֱלֹהֵ֬י יַעֲקֹֽב׃

יִשְׁלַֽח־עֶזְרְךָ֥ מִקֹּ֑דֶשׁ וּ֝מִצִּיֹּ֗ון יִסְעָדֶֽךָּ׃

יִזְכֹּ֥ר כָּל־מִנְחֹתֶ֑ךָ וְעֹולָתְךָ֖ יְדַשְּׁנֶ֣ה סֶֽלָה׃

יִֽתֶּן־לְךָ֥ כִלְבָבֶ֑ךָ וְֽכָל־עֲצָתְךָ֥ יְמַלֵּֽא׃

נְרַנְּנָ֤ה׀ בִּ֘ישׁ֤וּעָתֶ֗ךָ וּבְשֵֽׁם־אֱלֹהֵ֥ינוּ נִדְגֹּ֑ל יְמַלֵּ֥א יְ֝הוָ֗ה כָּל־מִשְׁאֲלֹותֶֽיךָ׃

עַתָּ֤ה יָדַ֗עְתִּי כִּ֤י הֹושִׁ֥יעַ׀ יְהוָ֗ה מְשִׁ֫יחֹ֥ו יַ֭עֲנֵהוּ מִשְּׁמֵ֣י קָדְשֹׁ֑ו בִּ֝גְבֻרֹ֗ות יֵ֣שַׁע יְמִינֹֽו׃

אֵ֣לֶּה בָ֭רֶכֶב וְאֵ֣לֶּה בַסּוּסִ֑ים וַאֲנַ֓חְנוּ׀ בְּשֵׁם־יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֣ינוּ נַזְכִּֽיר׃

הֵ֭מָּה כָּרְע֣וּ וְנָפָ֑לוּ וַאֲנַ֥חְנוּ קַּ֝֗מְנוּ וַנִּתְעֹודָֽד׃

יְהוָ֥ה הֹושִׁ֑יעָה הַ֝מֶּ֗לֶךְ יַעֲנֵ֥נוּ בְיֹום־קָרְאֵֽנוּ׃

Reading a scroll line

[ אבג ]: Grey, in brackets: letters the editor supplied. Where a lacuna runs over three words or more, only its first and last word are set; the words between keep their width but are left blank, so the size of the gap stays visible.
א̇: A dot above the letter: the reading is identified but uncertain.
°: A letter surviving only as illegible traces.
.: A lost letter inside a lacuna.

Everything else in a manuscript line is extant text. The verse-final ׃ is not printed there, and the scroll lines are consonantal throughout. Sigla are those of the ETCBC dataset.
